The Latina Women’s League is excited to announce a free citizenship/immigration workshop on June 12 and June 26 in at St. Augustine Church in Gainesville, FL (map).

If you have been a legal permanent resident for at least five (5) years and you have been living continuously in the U.S., you may be eligible to apply to become a naturalized U.S. citizen.

Applying for citizenship now will give you the opportunity to vote in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Do not miss out!


Free Citizenship Workshop

When: June 12 and 26 (Sundays)
Time: 3:00pm – 6:00pm

For assistance applying or for more information on classes that will prepare you for the citizenship interview call (###) ###-#### or send an email to info@latinawomensleague.org.


Come to LWL’s citizenship workshop and have your case evaluated by qualified immigration attorneys. Have your forms filled out and approved for filing.

♦ You must have had your green card for a minimum of three (3) years if you received it through marriage or five (5) years if received it another way.

♦ Criminal convictions? Have your case evaluated to see if you qualify for waivers to allow you to apply for citizenship.

♦ Green card expired? We will help you apply for renewal simultaneously with the citizenship application.

♦ Over 55? You might qualify for a waiver of the English language test.

Please note that while the workshop is free, filing fees might be due to the USCIS for the application.
